Kitties need your love & caring until they are adopted by their new family

King County's animal shelter/ RASKC is seeking volunters to cuddle and care for kitties from the shelter who temporarily reside at Petco- Bellevue Crossroads, as they wait to be adopted.

You would provide fresh food and water for the cat. Clean its kennel, then give it love.

As a RASKC ambassador, you also engage with Petco customers who are interested in cat care or the cat-adoption process. You also maintain the best possible professional relationships with the Petco staff.

Volunteers work a regularly scheduled one-hour weekly shift (or alternating weeks) shift in the morning, mid-day, or late afternoon/ early evening.

RASKC asks for all volunteers to make a commitment of weekly shifts for six months. Or alternating week shifts for a year. Time off is okay for vacations, illness, etc.

Next steps:

1. Submit a "fast track" application

2. Register for and attend new volunteer orientation

RASKC typically offers new volunteer orientation in the Kirkland/ Redmond/ Kenmore/ Bellevue area twice a month and also in Kent once or twice a month... except not in February.
