SOS Programs Assistant

SOS Outreach offers a value-based leadership curriculum that enhances the experience for students by promoting self-respect, positive relationships, social justice, and positive values. Students discuss and discover the meaning of our 5 core values; courage, discipline, integrity, wisdom, and compassion. SOS partners with youth agencies and mountain resorts in the winter and spring to provide multi-day snow sports programs that incorporate these SOS core values.

SOS Programs Assistant Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Research new youth agencies and schools that would be a good fit to partner with this season
Contact these organizations; meet and introduce them to SOS Outreach
Set up workshops to introduce new groups to SOS Outreach
Distribute SOS promotional materials to local ski and snowboard shops
Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with staff at local ski and snowboard shops
Identify and target local businesses for SOS fundraising and volunteer appreciation prizes
Maintain strong communication and contact with Regional Program Director, Malee Lucas
