If you have retail sales skills you would like to put to use helping others, or would like to learn these skills, then the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Whimsies Gift Shop is just right for you. Here are some of the tasks you will perform while helping people make others feel good: operate the cash register, the credit card machine, the balloon-filling helium tank, and other items in the shop, open and close the shop, take phone orders, sell and redeem gift certificates, dust, vacuum, dispose of trash daily and assist in maintaining an attractive, clean shop, and follow the Chairperson’s direction to change merchandise presentation.
