CF Cycle for Life is a one day bike ride which includes a choice of two routes (30 & 65 miles). The ride begins and ends at Gregory Vineyards in Angier, NC (McGee's Crossroads - I-40/ Exit 319) and passes through some of the most scenic and cycle-friendly roads in the area.
Cycle for Life offers not only beautiful cycling routes but a healthy challenge and good tine for recreational and experienced riders. It is also a way to give back to the local community and the 30,000 children, young adults and seniors living with cystic fibrosis.
While this series is new to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation it certainly does not lack the essentials that you are accustom to on a bike tour. This ride is fully supported with well stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, support and gear (SAG) vehicles, bike mechanics, on site medical services, complimentary breakfast, lunch and finish line festivities.
Volunteers are the life blood of the Foundation. Without volunteers like you, we would not be able to plan and implement events like CF Cycle to raise life saving research and patient care for those with cyctic fibrosos.
There are many opportunities to volunteer from being a part of the planning team, supporting day of logistics, recruiting cyclists or participating in the event yourself.
