South Bronx United is looking for highly motivated, energetic volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of South Bronx youth. South Bronx United runs an afterschool tutoring program for youth and is seeking SAT Prep tutors to work one on one or in small groups with it's high school seniors who will be taking the October and November SATs. SAT tutors will work with the student(s) for 90mins - 2 hours at least once a week on a set day(s) every week.

The program is run M-F from 3:30-6pm at the Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports, 730 Concourse Village West, Bronx, NY 10451. However, there's is also possibility of tutoring on weekends if it's a better fit for the tutors schedule.

Youth participating in the program are also members of the South Bronx United Travel Soccer Teams. Tutors are welcome and encouraged to come out and see a game or get involved in a practice as youth are extremely passionate about the sport and its a great way to connect with the kids.
