Opportunity
NewThreads of Hope is committed to providing an environment in which volunteers can experience the joy of providing needy families and individuals with new shirts and slacks, boots and jackets--new items many of them may never have had before.
We need volunteers to assist with the processing and sorting of clothes generously donated by various organizations. Please view our Events Home Page for a list of the dates we need assistance with and sign up online:

Requirements
Volunteers must be 13 years or older. Volunteers between the ages of 13 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Mission Statement
NewThreads of Hope offers support and a renewed sense of
hope by providing brand-new clothing and household items to the needy, the ill, children, and seniors, so that they may live more self-sufficient, dignified and independent lives.
Description
NewThreads of Hope, a Wisconsin-based nonprofit charity, accomplishes its mission through an innovative gifts-in-kind program that links manufacturers and retailers and their surplus products, samples, returns and past season lines with social service agencies, schools and faith-based communities. We provide the warehousing, sorting, processing, and distribution services that make all these products available to those who need them.
