"All About Sneakers" Wings Theatre NYC
performed by The Chad Players

The Chad Foundation for Athletes and Artists is seeking a Volunteer Video/Film Editor to create a 3-4 minute montage of two of our Theatre projects, the classic play, "Days of Wine and Roses," and the original off-Broadway production of "All About Sneakers."

As we are working on the launch of a new campaign, "The Chad Safe Driver Campaign for Young People" and the foundation has performed these two plays as ways of showing the effects of substance abuse, we would like to invite communities to host a "Chad Play Performance" by viewing a quick visual form that is compelling and makes the viewer want to see more.

"The Gift of Art"

Please visit our website at www.chadfoundation.org, "The Gift of Heart and Art."

The Chad Foundation secondary mission is to create art - film, theatre and books that celebrate American stories of all heritages and provide inspiring role models. The McGraw Hill schoolbook video, features the Chad intro to the classic poem, "To An Athlete Dying Young," by A. E. Houseman; the video is shown in 5,000 schools. Arista's off-Broadway play, "All About Sneakers," a play about learning to love oneself, has been performed for 400 Homeless Men and Women in NYC. The Chad Players production of "Days of Wine and Roses" was brought to Atlantic City, NJ sponsored by the "Atlantic Commission on Missing and Abused Children/Department of Family and Youth Services" as the community event of the year to show the deleterious effects substance abuse can have on the family. A screenplay/ teleplay has just been completed by the foundation, entitled, "U.S.A. (ew ess ah) My Year with the Homeless," based on the NY's homeless soccer team's participation in the "1st and 2nd Homeless Streetsoccer World Cups," in Graz, Austria and Gotenborg, Sweden and the Chad Foundation's heart screenings for, respectively, 16 and 26 countries of disenfranchised athletes.
