Trail Volunteers
Trail Volunteers at Work

Learn how to build and maintain natural surface trails by volunteering at one of our special workday events - Montgomery Parks has over 140 miles of trails and there is always an opportunity to improve them!

Scheduled on weekends, trail workdays occur in the spring and fall, from March - June through September - December. The work includes building new trail, repairing erosion issues, stabilizing muddy tread surfaces, and bridge construction. There is lots to learn!

The minimum age to volunteer is 15, but kids 13-14 years old can volunteer if accompanied by an adult. Connect with new people and learn about trail building and maintenance techniques while getting exercise.

This is an SSL approved activity.
