Serve Lunch and Fun for Seniors (Tomahawk)

Join us at the ADRC-CW Senior Dining Location to help serve lunch and help plan fun activities for seniors in the community. Its MORE than just a meal.... its about bringing together older adults.
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin operates a Senior Dining Site at the Tomahawk Senior Center in Tomahawk. Lunch is served at 11:30 Monday-Friday. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, serving meals, and clean-up. Volunteers would also be welcome to provide musical entertainment, games (Bingo), or crafts. Application and background check required.
Meals on Wheels are also packaged by volunteers to get everything ready to go for volunteer drivers. Help is needed starting between 9:30-10:30 to get the meals ready to go.
No cooking is done on site.
We are flexible and will work with your schedule and interests!
Volunteers of any age can join us for lunch (contribution of $3.75).

Description
ADRC-CW promotes choice and independence through information, personalized options counseling, advocacy, and access to services which prevent, delay, and lessen the impacts of aging and disabilities. We serve adults age 60 years and older and individuals age 17 years 6 months or older with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental health concerns, substance abuse issues, as well as their families, caregivers, and friends. Our service area includes Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, and Wood Counties and we have offices in Antigo, Marshfield, Merrill, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids.
