The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin operates a Senior Dining Site hosted by Jenny Towers in Merrill. Lunch is served at 11:30 Monday- Friday. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, serving meals, and clean-up. Help is needed anytime between 10:30-12:30. We work with your schedule and interests.

Volunteers would also be welcome to provide musical entertainment, games (Bingo), or crafts. Application and background check required.
ALL individuals 60+, regardless of income are welcome to eat lunch with us (they do not need to live in the building).
Volunteers can join us for lunch (donation welcomed).
