About

Do you like to stay busy while working in a group with a common purpose to improve the lives of others? The Meals on Wheels Program helps older adults who are unable to leave their home an opportunity to receive a nutritious hot meal at lunch time. Due to the work performed in the Senior Nutrition Program, a typical week can help 198 people eat a hot mid-day meal in their home.

Under the guidance of one paid staff member, volunteers assist with the packing of home delivered meals Monday through Friday. Work begins at 8:30am and is completed by 11:00am. Volunteers can commit to being there all 5 days or just a day or 2 a week- whatever works for your schedule. Application and background check required.
