Families of low-income backgrounds in San Jose meet on Sundays at various elementary schools in San Jose to contribute to their community while earning tickets to buy their basic necessities. One of our stores is open for them to shop from 4:00-7:00 on weekdays and Sundays. Volunteers ages 14 and above can team up with different family members to help them shop for their basic necessities and stay within their budget.
Start volunteering by visiting our website, www.sundayfriends.org, to complete the New Volunteer Orientation and for your parent to complete the Parent of a New Volunteer Orientation if you under 18.
Thank you from all of us and we hope to receive your application soon!
