Make a difference in the life of an older adult! Meals on Wheels is a program for older adults, 60+ who are considered homebound or unable to make a healthy meal for themselves.

The ADRC-CW delivers hot meals Monday-Friday and volunteer drivers pick meals up between 10:30-10:45 am at the ADRC-CW office (Centralia Center). These meals enable homebound, older adults to remain in their own homes and receive a hot and nutritious meal. Consider bringing a bit of comfort AND food to an individual who needs it most.

Routes typically take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. Some volunteers choose to volunteer daily or even seasonally and some commit to specific days of the week. Volunteers do not have to drive every day but can set a schedule based on how often they are interested in volunteering.

Routes in Wisconsin Rapids, Grand Rapids, Rudolph and Pittsville.

Groups are encouraged to apply and share the daily or weekly responsibilities. A fun way to make a big difference in the community while sharing the responsibility among a group of friends, co-workers, or church members.

Application and background checks are required. Training is provided. Mileage reimbursement is available. A reliable vehicle & clean driving record are also required.
