Deliver a hot meal today.
Meals on Wheels routes take about an hour to 1.5 hours so whether you have an hour a month or a few hours a week- we will work with your schedule. Meals on Wheels provides a hot meal and a chance to check in on older adults around the community. Due to COVID19, Meals on Wheels continues to be a critical program to bring meals and checking in on older, homebound adults. Risk reduction guidelines are in place for volunteers, customers and staff. Face coverings and hand sanitizer are both used throughout the routes. Physical distancing is done at each stop.

Volunteers pick up the meals at the Tomahawk Senior Center at 10:45 am and most routes will take approximately one hour. Meals are delivered Monday- Friday. Volunteers are needed daily, weekly, or monthly. If you would like to be on an on call status, we can accommodate that too. Groups are encouraged to apply and share the daily or weekly responsibilities. Application and background check required. Mileage reimbursement is available. Training is provided.
