YMCA Teens!
Nuturing the Potential of Teens

So much of what we learn has to do with the opportunities we’re given. At the Y, we want young people to explore their possibilities and think big!

The M.D. Anderson Family YMCA is seeking positive and caring adult role models for the YMCA Achievers and Youth & Government high school leadership programs.

Volunteers will meet with teens during bi-weekly week night meetings, weekend leadership and college readiness experiences. Volunteers are needed to help plan special events, career workshops, and summer leadership trips.

Volunteers should: be 21 years of age or older; posses a strong sense of academic and personal achievement; devote an average of 10 hours monthly to the leadership programs; submit to a background check.
