We are urgently looking for foster homes for cats and kittens. Your loving care will help give a rescue cat or kitten a new chance to have a happy future. Every year, thousands of cats and kittens who are not adopted are euthanized in the city shelters. One way to change this is by increasing the number of adoptions. Our fosters care for cats or kittens at home while we work to find their forever family. Fostering allows Anjellicle Cats to get more cats/kittens out of the city shelters and on the path to adoption.
**Update: We have several cats who need to be in single-cat homes. If you are an experienced cat guardian and you do not currently have other pets, we would love your help. We also have many cats and kittens who can be placed in homes with other pets. We can assist you with introducing the foster to your other pet(s). Fosters are also urgently needed for kittens, bottle babies and nursing moms.
We have some opportunities for shorter-term fosters, but we especially appreciate our long-term fosters who can foster a cat or kittens until adoption. Any amount of time is a huge help!
Anjellicle Cats covers all medical treatment for foster cats at our partner vets in NYC. We generally ask our fosters to supply food, litter and basic supplies (which are tax-deductible as a donation). We have adoption events every Saturday and Sunday afternoon at two locations in Manhattan: Petco 86 (86th & Lexington) and Petco 100 (Columbus Ave & W. 100th St). By fostering with us, you will be joining a strong community of fosters and cat lovers.
To get started, please complete a foster application on our website: www.anjelliclecats.com.
