Special Olympics Orange County offers tennis instruction to athletes of all ages and ability levels. Novices are working on the fundamental skills, whereas more experienced athletes are improving their game. Both short course and long course are offered. Practices are held at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club on Saturdays, 3:30-5p.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
Description
SOOC offers 18 sports year-round to more than 300 athletes of all ages and skill levels with developmental disabilities.
