The Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry is always in need of volunteers to help sort, stock and distribute food in our Market and Warehouse. We are also in need of Parking Attendants, Volunteer Receptionists, Greeters, and Computer Check-in Volunteers

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays

8:00 am to 10:00 am: Prep for distribution - stocking shelves, sorting produce, filling freezer/cooler shelves, unloading food rescue items from truck, other

9:30 am to 2:15 pm: Assist with distribution - check-in, directing and assisting guests in choosing food, breaking down boxes, refilling shelves in freezer/cooler and Market, sorting food in warehouse, direct traffic in parking lot and overflow parking, load cars and return carts, other (You do not have to commit to working the whole shift-let us know what works for you!)

Not looking to work in our Warehouse or Market? We also have Volunteer Opportunities available in our front lobby. Available positions include Greeter, Receptionist, and computer Check-in Volunteers.

We will work with you to find a position that is perfect for you during a timeframe that you are comfortable with.

Wednesdays & Fridays - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (any amount of time during that period): Unload food from van/truck, sort food, organize warehouse, assist with cleaning, various clerical tasks, answer phones, other

Description

The Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry exists to serve those who are in need of food. Everyday of the week we have a need for committed individuals with giving hearts to help with our food distribution program. Our organization cannot exist without the help of volunteers.
