Yolo County Archives and Records Center is seeking a volunteer to assist in the 2012 inventory of department records, data entry of department records transfer list into the online management system, and clerical filing of both Records Center and Archives files. The Volunteer should have knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. This is an unpaid volunteer position. Duties include, but are not limited, to lifting boxes 30lbs or less, re-box documents, organize shelves, file original government documents, file receipts and other Records Center paper work, and using a PC to include internet access. The volunteer must have minimum experience working in archives, special collections, and records center repositories. The hours available are Monday, Wednesday's, and Friday's between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm.
