Help special events staff behind-the-scenes.
National Archives volunteers are a diverse team of individuals who love people and history. They enjoy interacting with and helping people from all walks of life. Our volunteers have a passion and love to share their knowledge with our guests.
Are you interested in helping out for a day or an evening? Special events are the perfect opportunity for an individual to get involved and be connected with the National Archives premiere events.
Special event volunteers are a group of people who are available to help specifically with special events on a consistent basis. These include the 4th of July at the National Archives, Naturalization Ceremony, NARA Sleepovers and much more. Activities include providing administrative or on-site support, crowd control, setup/tear down and many others.
