Good Samaritan Hospice of the NRV will be training volunteers to work directly with hospice patients and families. This special volunteer provides companionship, respite and practical help such as running errands. We provide the information and training needed to volunteer with us.
As a volunteer with Good Samaritan, you are an important part of our team of doctors, nurses, social workers, home health aides, office staff, and chaplain. You may choose to become involved with projects or office work. As an office volunteer, you may answer phones, file, or work on the computer You may learn new skills and share your ideas and talents (baking, sewing, crafts, music, singing.) Ask about our future training to visit patients.
Call to learn more about our 2019 winter training and to reserve a place in the class.
