Help those transitioning from jail to society learn basic and intermediate computer skills, how to fill out online job applications and general computer literacy.
Typically, the 1 1/2 hour sessions are designed to specifically engage small groups of men or women who have earned their way into this progressive and dynamic program.
The overall goal of the JET program is to: 1) provide exposure to a variety of creative and stimulating activities that may serve as positive outlets and alternatives for high-risk behavior, and 2) teach needed life skills and decision-making skills to lower recidivism.
Commitment: 1 year, 2 hours each week.
Training, jail safety orientation and background check are required.
