Help serve food, beverages, desserts at Meal Time by Friends of Night People at The Salvation Army from 3:15-5:30 p.m. every TUESDAY, THURSDAY or SUNDAY.
** Volunteers, if signing up, must contact NGawel@FriendsofNightPeople.com. Individuals who have never volunteered at Friends of Night People, are required to fill out an application at FriendsofNightPeople.com and attend an orientation session.

Friends of Night People's mission is to heighten public understanding of homelessness and poverty issues and to provide basic and essential support services.
Description
THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO INCREASE THE PUBLIC'S UNDERSTANDING OF HOMELESSNESS AND THE WORKING POOR BY WORKING WITH OTHER VOLUNTARY AGENCIES TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR PEOPLE AND THEIR ASSOCIATED PROBLEMS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A SOUP KITCHEN IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK, WHICH PROVIDES HOT MEALS, CLOTHING, MEDICAL CARE, ASSISTANCE AND SOCIAL SERVICE REFERRALS FOR THE HOMELESS AND WORKING POOR.
