Robinson Ranch is currently seeking individuals willing to be trained for Horse & Animal Care / Maintenance. Our horses are our cornerstone and it is important we keep their living areas tidy. We currently need maintenance help on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning and/or evening, Saturday & Sunday evening. (times fluctuate with the change of weather)

Job Description

Usually under the supervision of the Equestrian manager, a Animal care is responsible for keeping stalls cleaned, for general maintenance and often feeding duties. Animal Care spends a great deal of time with each animal they clean up after, which puts them in a good position to notice (and report) problems or illness.

  • Adhering to a cleaning and/ or feeding schedule
  • Removing waste from stalls
  • Waste management
  • Sometimes responsible for daily feedings
  • Usually responsible for general and routine maintenance
  • Keeping stable area tidy, raking & sweeping
  • Can be responsible for grooming duties
  • Alerting stable management of problems with the animals

The mission of Robinson Ranch Equine Assisted Learning & Therapeutic Riding Center is to provide comprehensive educational programs for all individuals utilizing horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Pursuing this mission enriches the lives of our clients in a caring, safe, and challenging environment that will enable them to reach their full potential. Our population includes children & adults with disabilities, able-bodied children & adults, those who have been abused or neglected, and those who are economically compromised.


Robinson Ranch is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that offers therapeutic riding to children and adults with disabilities. We also offer regular riding classes, Family Saddle Clubs and many other great programs.
