  • Provide in-person advocacy, emotional support, crisis intervention, information and referrals to sexual assault survivors throughout the evidentiary exam, as desired by the survivor. 
  • Act as a liaison between the survivor and other members of the Sexual Assault Response Team (local law enforcement and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners). 
  • Protect survivor confidentiality in accordance with agency confidentiality standards.

Since 1969, CCS has provided a wide variety of trauma informed and accessible services that aim to eliminate societal conditions that condone and perpetuate relationship violence, sexual assault, and stalking and to promote safety, justice, and healing for those impacted by these crimes.

Our programs and services include:

  • Prevention and education
  • Community outreach and engagement
  • 24/7 Crisis Hotline
  • 24-hour accompaniment to forensic exams for survivors of sexual assault
  • 24-hour short-term emergency shelters for domestic violence victims and their children
  • Transitional Housing
  • Legal services, Advocacy court accompaniment and on-going client services
  • Individual, child, and family counseling, support groups

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • 1 yr commitment of (4) six hour shifts per month
  • Particpate in our 65 Hour Crisis Intervention Training
