YOU can have fun and get to know someone in your community!
Friendly Visitor Volunteers enjoy one-on-one relationships, while alleviating loneliness and isolation with important human contact encouraging lonely elders to socialize. Volunteers are specifically trained to understand and appreciate underlying social needs and, in doing so, to provide a sense of dignity and worth for the clients that is so often lacking.

Description
The goal of the volunteer programs is to provide quality, compassionate assistance to consumers throughout Bergen, Passaic Counties and North Hudson with their activities of daily living, stimulating communication, interaction and socialization to enhance their quality of life and promote their independence.
