Do you enjoy Art and love working with Older Adults? If so, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
The New Jewish Home is looking for volunteers to assist with Open Art Studio in our library! This program currently takes place every other Monday afternoon from 1:30pm-4:30pm
All are welcome to this Open Art Studio Group where older adults use acrylic paints, water colors, color pencils, markers, crayons and oil pastels to create anything they like. Volunteers are needed to assist with escorting older adults to and from the program, setting-up/distributing materials and to encourage residents to feel free to express themselves through Art.
We have additional arts and crafts programs that meet on other days and times including Craft Corner and Coloring Meditation
Please apply online at the following link: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=229551104
Please be sure to mention Volunteer Match & Open Art Studio in your application.
