ORGANIZATION: Helping Hands of Vegas Valley

Food delivery to seniors

Our pantry volunteers deliver food and paper goods to home-bound seniors on every first and third Saturday of each month.

Volunteers will come out to our food pantry (near I-15 and Cheyenne) where they will be given very full grocery bags and a route with delivery instructions and turn by turn directions. Duration depends on the route and traffic, but typically, it takes our volunteers 2 hours to complete their route.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals as well as families and friends to volunteer together and brighten the day for our community's seniors in need!

Drivers must be 18 years of age, but passengers of all ages are welcome to help.

*Please note: this opportunity is not available for people seeking completion of court-ordered community service hours.
