Clinic by the Bay is seeking experienced mental health professionals to volunteer in our free primary care clinic for low-income uninsured adults. As part of our commitment to taking care of the whole person, not just the illness, we offer short-term counseling services (up to 6 sessions total) for our patients. LCSW or LMFT preferred, though non-licensed social workers or mental health professionals also welcome. Bilingual Spanish and/or Cantonese strongly preferred. If not bilingual, experience providing mental health services with an interpreter a plus.
Clinic by the Bay is a part of the national network of Volunteers in Medicine clinics; we engage retired and practicing doctors, nurses, and other volunteers to provide compassionate, high quality health care, free of charge to our patients.
