Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. You can help in many ways... from sorting foods for storage and delivery, to hands-on food distributions. You can sponsor a food drive or develop a group to paint bowls for our annual Empty Bowl Luncheon. Our OPEN volunteer times are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-3 pm. We schedule groups at other days and times.
We can tailor a volunteer role to your specific needs and schedule. Just give us a call at 770-534-4111 to learn about volunteer opportunities and obtain a volunteer form.

Description
The Georgia Mountain Food Bank serves the counties of Hall, Forsyth, Dawson, Lumpkin and Union. Approximately 70 partner agencies--including pantries, back pack programs, meal-serve programs, group home settings, and mobile food distributions--assist 60,000+ food insecure people each month.
