How Can Volunteers Help?
We provide specialized care and support for our patients and their families. Volunteers play a vital role in our services by providing:
Patient Support: provide companionship, a listening ear, and engaging in shared hobbies such as: reading, writing letters, taking walks, etc...
Caregiver Support: assist with running errands, making phone calls, providing respite care and support
Bereavement Support: assist hospice staff with emotional support of patients and families, as well as mailings of bereavement notes and cards
Administrative Support: provide support to the office staff by clerical and record keeping, data entry, phone support, making copies, and filing
Professional Support: providing care such as massage therapy, pet therapy, or beautician services as a licensed professional
