Volunteers familiar with Brookside Gardens (or willing to learn) are needed at our Information Desk in the Garden's Visitor Center. Info. Desk Volunteers answer questions from visitors and pointing out garden highlights on the map. These volunteers are vital to the operation of Brookside Gardens Visitor Center and are often the first official greeters to the Garden. They also answer the phone, provide details on garden highlights and attractions, driving directions, hours of operation, etc. We are looking for volunteers that can commit to at least one shift a week.

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
