Calvary Women’s Services offers housing, health, employment and education programs that empower homeless women in Washington, DC to change their lives. Founded in 1983, our programs carry out our mission to offer "a safe, caring place for tonight; support, hope and change for tomorrow." Meal volunteers provide all of the meals on the weekend allowing more of Calvary's resources to go directly to the women in the program.

Meal volunteers purchase or prepare a nutritious meal at home and bring it to one of Calvary's housing program sites. Dinners are needed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Volunteers are asked to prepare or purchase a meal for 20 residents. There is an option to stay and serve the meal, which is a great opportunity to meet the Calvary residents! After serving the meal, volunteers are welcome to sit down and enjoy the meal with the residents.

This is the perfect opportunity for families and small groups of up to 10 to serve!
