ONHC Hospice

O'Neill Healthcare Hospice is currently seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to help our team make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families in any of our six healthcare facilities located in Bay Village, North Ridgeville, North Olmsted, Lakewood, Middleburg Heights, and Fairview Park.

Many opportunities are available including:

Patient visits- Give direct support to patients and families. Show them that they are cared for and their lives and quality of life matter. You can share memories with them, play cards, play music, watch their favorite show, write letters and cards to their loved ones for them, record important memories to share with the family, or just sit at the bedside and hold their hand.

Office support- Help with filing, copies, phones, and organizing in the main hospice office.

Pet therapy- Bring your certified pet to come visit some of our patients and give much needed care and companionship.

Music therapy- Play an instrument for some of our patients to help with stimulation and relaxation.

Bereavement- Assist with memorial services and groups when needed.

Vigil Volunteers- If you are a night owl and you want to give your time this is a great opportunity! Occasionally there are patients who have no family or the family is not able to come in to visit. Having someone sit at the bedside so that they are not alone during their last hours would be a true comfort.
