The children do not have not have family to guide, teach or nurture them. Adult mentors provide this and so much more to the children living at Chamberlain's with a supportive and enriching one-on-one relationship that will aid in developing their self-esteem, trust, self-confidence and a sense of community.
Children are boys and girls, ages 6-17 years. Typical stay is 6 months to a few years.
Mentors must be 18 years or older, free of TB, have a First Aid and CPR certificate and pass a Livescan. Online training provided by CYS.
