Come spend time with these ladies!

Are you a skilled and knowledgeable crafter of strung beaded jewelry? Do you have creative and fashionable design skills? Do you know the difference between chain nose pliers and round nose pliers? Between agate and jasper? We are looking for women who are available during the day on Wednesdays as well as able to commit to one Saturday a month to teaching crafty and creative refugee women living in the Denver Metro Area.

A Little Something is a crafts collective for refugee women that fosters self-sufficiency through creating and selling homemade crafts. Every Wednesday and on the third Saturday of each month, around 10-15 women gather together to learn new skills and make their products.

If you know how to make beaded jewelry (including skillfully attaching findings and using crimps and a crimp tool--a must), we would love your help. To learn more about A Little Something and to apply for a volunteer position, please go to www.refugeecrafts.org
