SCORE (formerly known as the Service Core of Retired Executives) of Southeastern MA invites men and women who are active or retired business owners, executives, or professionals to join us as volunteers to mentor small businesses, both start-ups and in-business. SCORE volunteers provide confidential business mentoring services, both in person and online. Another opportunity would be to lead seminars and workshops to help small business owners meet their goals and achieve success. Or you could help expand the outreach of SCORE through marketing and alliance building in our local communities.
In addition to face to face mentoring, we also are in need of online volunteers to screen emailed mentoring requests and contact the potential clients to schedule an appointment. So, if mobility is an issue, you can do this entirely from your home either online or by phone.
We are affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Administration and counsel out of branches in five locations: Brockton, Rockland, Quincy, Plymouth and Taunton.
