The Arc of Evansville is seeking a volunteer Teacher Assistant in our Child Life Center. Volunteers will provide assistance with children's activities in the inclusive Child Life Center. The Child Life Center serves children with and without disabilities six weeks to six years of age. Duties may include working one-on-one with pre-K students in a group setting or rocking and feeding infants. Love, patience, and an interest in helping children develop practical and social skills.

Description
The Arc of Evansville is a not-for-profit organization started in 1954 which works to empower individuals with disabilities to build relationships, gain independence and achieve their full potential. Our agency is a leading advocate for the rights for individuals with disabilities. We offer eight programs for adults with disabilities to achieve their goals and provide an inclusive, award-winning Child Life Center which serves over 100 children daily (over 30% come from economically disadvantaged homes). The Arc of Evansville serves over 750 individuals each year.
