Housing Assessment Program Front Desk Volunteer

Location: The Salvation Army Housing Assessment Program, 1120 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids 49503
Description: If you are interested in helping connect people with housing and would like to be a volunteer at HAP, we would love to meet you! We are looking for volunteers who are good listeners, who communicate well, who want to be part of a team and who find it energizing to connect with people of diverse backgrounds. Specifically, we are seeking front desk volunteers to assist individuals and families who are seeking housing assistance.
Number of Volunteers Needed: 3
Qualifications: 18 years or older. Long-term assignment, 2.5 to three hour commitment per week preferred, experience with office work needed, compassion necessary
