Summer is here and we need to increase the number of volunteers in the heart of Malibu, California! How cool is that? Work with great people who love the ocean.
The Sea Save Foundation is located right alongside PCH and it needs volunteers to help spread our message of ocean conservation. Sea Save focuses on using science to bring awareness to the various problems facing our oceans. We most recently worked with the Discovery Channel to bring more scientifically based programming to Shark Week as one of seven national partners. We need volunteers that are passionate about the ocean and who want to make a difference in the world.
Volunteers would be tasked with helping start up our Malibu office and coordinating with our international partners to expand our social media presence as well as helping out with other tasks around the office. Sea Save is a great way to meet other people passionate about the environment and gain experience in an office setting.

Sea Save Foundation stands witness to the health of the oceans and the threats they face, we document problems and develop solutions, arm people with knowledge, and tools so they can make a difference. With the public as our ally, we go to the United Nations and other global bodies to effect international change. We attend these meetings so we can offer creative, economically viable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plans to decision-makers. We also make sure everyone is doing their best to meet their targets.
Description
Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:
- We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
- We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
