Be an online career mentor to a high school studetn in just 10 minutes a week from your computer.

The PA eMentoring Relationship Monitor Volunteer uses an online monitoring system to help maximize the experience of high school students completing the PA eMentoring program at their school.

Primary Responsibility is to use the online monitoring system to monitor eMentoring relationships to ensure successful implementation and completion of the program. This includes:

Managing and maintaining the database of volunteers who are participating in the program as online career mentors.

Monitoring and personally addressing via phone and email any "red flags" identified by the monitoring system that indicate program progress is not being met

Communicate effectively with teachers and mentors via phone/email regarding program questions or concerns

Develop and submit weekly reports for PA eMentoring program manager of student/mentor progress throughout the school year

Document success stories from the PA eMentoring program for the Smart Futures blog.

Posting blog and social media updates to inform mentors of what's going on with the program as well as information related to career planning and mentoring.a

Smart Futures' vision is that every student graduating from a Pennsylvania high school is prepared for college and career success.

Smart Futures' mission is to provide Pennsylvania’s educators with innovative career education resources that help students "get real" - about who they are, where they are going, and how to get there.

Smart Futures is a 501c-3 non-profit organization and a leading provider of online career education resources and training to schools and community-based organizations in Pennsylvania. Our online programs include Keys2Work, PA eMentoring, My Career Journey, and Financial Literacy 101.

Each of Smart Futures' programs is aligned to the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Career Education and Work. As a result, the content helps schools and community-based training meet required teaching standards while connecting students with the real needs and opportunities within today’s workplace.

PA eMentoring is an online career mentoring program for high school students. For working adults who serve as volunteers, PA eMentoring is a fun, safe, and easy way to provide kids with help in college and career planning -- all in 10 minutes a week from their computer.
