At VMLC we teach over 1000 adult students each year. Each semester, volunteers come once a week for two hours in our morning, afternoon or evening programs. We provide all the training/materials/curriculum and try to place two teachers in every classroom. We have morning and afternoon classes at Vickery Meadow, ELM-East Dallas, and West Dallas campuses. We offer evening classes at our Vickery Meadow and West Dallas campuses. Our ELM-East Dallas location is at 629 N. Peak St, and our West Dallas campus address is 1018 Gallagher St (near Trinity Groves).

For teaching and other volunteer opportunities beginning this January, we will provide volunteer orientations in August. If you can’t commit for the classroom, we also have volunteer positions for enrichment teachers, subs, tutors, office help, computer lab teachers and more. We will cover all of that at an orientation. Please visit our website at www.vmlc.org to get more information about what we do and check out our videos there! You can also email volunteer@vmlc.org to sign up for a volunteer orientation or learn more information.
