Our mission:
We support the work of Catholic Charities by serving both non-Catholic and Catholic members of our community in need. We work together to help cultivate the next generation of leaders committed to Catholic Charities and our Federation of 90 Agencies. Our members have gone on to join the Boards of Directors for Catholic Charities Community Services, Kennedy Children’s Center, Good Counsel, and more.
The Junior Board’s main fundraising focus is the St. Nicholas Project which raises funds to purchase items of necessity such as coats, hats, sweaters, and blankets to more than 4,000 individuals each December at our annual Kmart Shopping Day. Junior Board members are asked to "give or get" donations to support the project during the winter season and volunteer at the annual Kmart Shopping Day.
