The Computer Check-In Expert position is one of the most vital in our Walk-In Program. This position is responsible for entering client information into our database so we can enforce rules, track our numbers, and run accurate reports. The person in this position is the first that clients see once they enter the food bank line, so a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Volunteers in this position should be able to learn software quickly, and will need to be able to type accurately and quickly and should be comfortable using a barcode scanner. We are currently recruiting for a volunteer who can come in on Tuesdays from 9:30am-1:30pm weekly. Volunteers will receive training alongside a lead volunteer or staff member, and the volunteer will have staff support throughout each shift. Applications and background checks are required. If unable to do weekly you can be a sub.
