Volunteers need to provide medical transportation in Loudoun County for our elderly, disabled or persons suffering from long term illness who have no transportation options. You can make a huge difference to someone needing transportation to medical appointments, dialysis treatments or cancer treatments, just by volunteering a couple of hours each month. Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers is a member of the National Caregivers Network. We provide services that enable frail seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain independence and quality of life. Our services include:
- Assisted transportation to medical appointments
- Supportive services, such as grocery shopping, food bank delivery, errands, simple home repairs, friendly visiting
- Assistance with personal money management, such as bill payinging, representative payee service, and BenefitsOutreach assessments.
