Have you been looking for a way to get involved with feeding the hungry or your local food pantry? LVC can help! We work with both Dulles South Food Pantry and Loudoun Hunger Relief to provide food to our elderly and disabled Care Receivers. Our wonderful volunteers deliver nutritious food to individuals and families who would otherwise not be able to eat. Deliveries are made to both the eastern and western side of Loudoun County and delivery times with Loudoun Hunger Relief are often flexible. This is also a chance to nourish your neighbor, as well as yourself and form lasting bonds with members of your community.

Social distancing and safety precautions observed. Cloth masks and nitrile gloves provided to our volunteers.

Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers is a community of volunteers helping frail elderly and adults with disabilities to maintain independence and quality of life.

Description

Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers is a member of the National Caregivers Network. We provide services that enable frail seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain independence and quality of life. Our services include:

  1. Assisted transportation to medical appointments
  2. Supportive services, such as grocery shopping, food bank delivery, errands, simple home repairs, friendly visiting
  3. Assistance with personal money management, such as bill payinging, representative payee service, and BenefitsOutreach assessments.
