Hello! If you are looking for a great place to volunteer, please join us at Neighborhood House, a non-profit organization that offers free ESL classes, Citizenship courses, and other services to low-income residents of King County. Our Citizenship programs are offered throughout the year. We study American history, US Naturalization questions, and the Citizenship exam. Our tutors practice with our students to improve the clients' skills in writing, reading, and interviewing. Our volunteers are an intrical part of our programs and are very much appreciated! Please do consider a tutorong position with us. Many of our volunteers who have spent some months tutoring our immigrant and refugee population say that "it is so fun" and "one of the best experiences of (their) lives". Because of our helpful volunteers the students are that much more successful in passing their US Citizenship Interviews. Nice!
