** All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. Mask policy fluctuates based on recommendation from our Chief Medical Officer.


Our Donor Registration Clerks are the first face our donors see upon entering our donation centers. Our friendly clerks greet donors as they enter, register donors into our computer system and obtain accurate donor ID criteria, input all donor information into the computer, and verify accuracy of critical information. Also oversee the canteen area when able and Thank donors as they leave.

Choose one of our open recurring shifts:

  • Mondays 3pm - 6:30pm
  • Wednesdays 3p - 6:30p
  • Thursdays 11a - 4p
  • Thursdays 4p - 6:30p
  • Every Other Friday 8a - 1p
  • Every Other Saturday 7a - 1p
  • Every Other Saturday 9a - 1p

Time off when needed. Orientation and Training at this location. Safe and friendly atmosphere!

Description

The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
