Luv Em Up Ministries is in need of volunteers to serve at Monday evening Services from 6:00pm until 8:15 PM, and at other special ministry events such as weekend barbeques, baseball games, and beach trips. If you have a heart for people with disabilities, and if you are looking for a way to use your gifts and talents to honor God, we welcome you to come and take part in this special ministry!
Previous experience with individuals with disabilities in not required! We need volunteers who can do any of the following:
- Minister to our participants with the love of God at our weekly service
- Support our participants in being active members of their own church
- Help the volunteer team to develop bible lessons, integrating activities, movement, and art into the program
- Help to organize and assist at special events custom made for our participants
- Coordinate transportation routes to church or events with our ministry shuttles
- Drive our participants - We are especially in need of class B drivers!
- Help with fundraising activities
- Design banners, videos, picture boards, collages, and newsletters
- Help to promote the ministry among other groups and communities

Our Mission is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through biblical principles. We strive to love those with special needs as they are, to support them in being exactly who God created them to be, to encourage them with the abilities God has given them, and to equip them through Bible studies so they may confidently bring others to Christ. We accomplish this by: *Hosting regular church services that meets their needs for spiritual growth *Hosting and funding opportunities for fellowship, outreach, and serving others *Providing and funding transportation to ministry events to those who need it
Description
A Monday night service at Luv.Em.Up is like no other church you've been to! Come and enjoy the freedom of dancing while you worship, great music, activities, skits, and and interactive message from the Bible. There's plenty of time for fellowship and fun before and after the service as well.
- Day: Every Monday Night, except on holidays (see schedule below)
- Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
- Location: The Rock East County Sanctuary, 808 Jackman Street, El Cajon, CA
Holidays: Dates below include holidays in which The Rock East County is closed and Luv.Em.Up will NOT be meeting:
- Labor Day, Monday September 7th, 2015
- Columbus Day, Monday October 12th, 2015
- Christmas, Monday December 28th, 2015
