Healthy Spirit Healthy Soul Lake County, IL is a group of African American churches and community organizations that take a faith-based approach to promoting healthy living and early cancer detection as part of our mission to eliminate cancer in the African American community of Lake County, specifically in Zion, North Chicago and Waukegan.
We are looking for volunteers that would be interested in helping fulfill our mission by volunteering at our educational events held at our various member churches, helping set-up/take-down, helping at the actual event and spreading the word about Healthy Spirit Healthy Soul!
