ORGANIZATION: Harvest Hope Food Bank

  • 47 people are interested

We are in need of caring, compassionate volunteers to help us to serve hungry people in South Carolina. An average of over 300 families a day are served through our two Emergency Food Pantries in the Midlands.

Our intake counselor volunteers work directly with our clients to gather their personal information and then enter them into our client database. We are looking for adults that have a background or training in social services, counseling, education, customer service or working with at-risk individuals. Computer skills are a must. Time commitment: a day a week (plus training).

We are currently looking for intake volunteers for Friday mornings, Monday afternoons and a floater position (someone who is flexible and can fill in when needed).
